DIY coasters are probably the easiest craft you can come by. In fact, if you’re not painting or do anything particularly intricate, I’m not even sure you can qualify the activity as ‘arts and crafts’. Though, to be honest, my first foray into coaster-making was not as successful as the ones featured in this post. They turned out sticky and awkward and not all that functional. I suppose though, I learned a trick or two from my insistent blog-hunting, and finally decided this weekend to give the coaster making another go. These superhero coasters are pretty kick ass. Even if you don’t want to use them in your day-to-day use (you may be more classy than I am) they are easy enough to make that they could be a pretty cool touch to the next hero vs villain costume party you have or to consider for a handmade housewarming gift. continue reading… 1 Comment |
